ST KILDA

Address

Studio 14
Level 1, 14 Pakington Street

Location

Located in cosmopolitan St Kilda, this get-together is for open learning and development of Push Hands Skills. There is obviously physical contact but no aggresive movements, throws or takedowns. It's all about like-minded people getting together to learn, understand and share their experience. It's suitable for anyone wanting to share and support each other in this extremely important aspect of Taijiquan discipline.

Studio 14 is a purpose-built training hall that has been lovingly renovated to include a lift, mirrors, change rooms and all one would want for Tai Chi practice. It is the perfect place to leave your stresses behind. Access to the hall is through the red door at the front of the building or via the lift in the carpark. There is plenty of street parking in Pakington Street and St Kilda Road. Once you have finished training you are walking distance to the wonderful array of restaurants and cafes in cosmopolitan Carlisle Street. The perfect way to make the most of your Sunday!!!

Public Transport

If you are travelling by tram, take a 3 or 67 along St Kilda Road and get off at either Inkerman or Carlisle Streets. Alternately, get the 3a or 16 and get off at St Kilda Road – the hall is only a 5-minute walk from any of those stops. If you are coming by train, use the Sandringham line and get off at Balaclava Station, it is a short walk along Carlisle & Chapel Streets. The 623 bus stops at the corner of Carlisle St and St Kilda Road, so is again a 5-minute walk.
