Tai Chi (Tàijíquán in Chinese) is literally an internal Chinese Martial Art that has been practiced in China since the 16th Century. Qigong is “Energy/Breath Work” that dates back thousands of years. They are a tranquil and graceful way of keeping fit, improving your health, and helping to prevent the stresses and strains of modern living. Our classes include Qigong breathing and meditation techniques; strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination exercises; martial applications and forms. The classes are created as the perfect mind-body exercise program for all Australians based on well-researched and tested guidelines from the best sport universities, organisations and professionals in China and Australia. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

Learning Tai Chi in a group setting can be incredibly rewarding. It is the opportunity to get together with like-minded people and share the highs and lows of learning something new. Most of our group classes stay together for years and years, practice together outside class times, have coffee afterward, support each other, and create connections like that of a chosen second family. However, if you want to “keep to yourself” don’t be put off as there is never any pressure for you to do anything other than enjoy your training.
The team at JinLi work closely with our clients to create a specifically tailored program to suit each corporation’s needs, whether it is a one-off class to create team building or an ongoing program focussing on workplace wellness.
The health benefits for your staff are enormous, which means there are health benefits for your business as well. Tai Chi and Qigong are a simple and easy-to-manage way of ensuring your business flourishes by having staff who are happy, healthy, and motivated.
Corporate Tai Chi and Quigong Classes
Any school comprises a rich and diverse community that prides itself on instilling the values of integrity, respect and self-responsibility. Exposure to the arts of Tai Chi and Qigong can complement those philosophies and is the perfect vehicle to develop and display core principles along with other ideals associated with physical and mental wellbeing.
We work closely with teachers to ensure each class within the school community has a specifically tailored program; the younger students requiring a class that is broken down in to compact, fun and easy-to-learn activities, while older students need a structure that keeps them interested, stimulated and focussed.
If your schedule or life circumstances are stopping you from learning Tai Chi then Private Classes are the perfect solution. You can work with your instructor at a time and location that suits you. If you don’t want to learn on your own, then bring a friend or share the learning experience with your partner.
Life often gets in the way of what we want to or should do for ourselves, our health and our mental wellbeing. Tai Chi really will change your life. Why not book a session to find out?
All of our regular classes are suitable for Seniors, where you get a chance to mix with a variety of people from all age brackets and walks of life. However, if you want to start up a class in your Retirement Village or social group that is easy to access and at a time that works for you, then we can definitely create a program to suit your needs.
You’ve learnt a Tai Chi routine, but really want to perfect it. You want to have someone work with you to fine tune every movement in an open and positive environment where you can share your goals with others. You may be doing this for your own personal development, or to gain that critical feedback for you to compete. If either of these scenarios resonate with you, then these classes are perfect.
Competition and Intensive Training
The JinLi Team have turned a negative into a positive… we’ve become expert at how to teach Tai Chi and Qigong via teleconferencing. Whether it be Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams or any of the other platforms, if you can’t get to a face-to-face class, then we’ll come to you.
You may be travelling for work, house-bound due to injury, or simply don’t want the hassle of a “real” class then let the class come to you whenever and wherever you are. Our Virtual classes provide a much better alternative than learning from online tutorials as we can go through the movements with you in real time, helping answer your questions, providing corrections and offering you all you would hope for in a “real” class environment.
We can provide Virtual Tai Chi and Qigong classes for groups, individuals and Corporates, as well as offering a regular suite of classes each week.
