Melbourne Capoeira Viralata
Capoeira is originally an Afro-Brazilian martial art and game that includes elements of dance, acrobatics, music and spirituality. Though often said to be a martial art disguised as a dance, Capoeira serves not only as a form of self-defence, but also as a way to maintain spirituality and culture.

“You can be a master of Capoeira and never once throw a punch in your life, instead, you will be a master of dance.”  - Leo Viralata

Melbourne Capoiera Viralata instructors and students bring an amazing passion and sense of community to Studio14, we know new students will be enchanted by their energy.

Miss Nina Osmanova – Vaganova Russian Ballet
“Hi! My name is Nina, I am a professional ballerina. My career began in St. Petersburg, Russia, where I graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy as a ballet dancer. I then went on to perform at the Mikhailovsky Theatre for nearly fourteen years. My teaching career began later and ran parallel to my career as a performer. In 2009, I won the international ballet competition in Riga and was asked to give a ballet workshop/intensive for competition students.

I have been teaching since that time, and received my Master's Degree at the Vaganova Ballet Academy as a Choreographer Master/Teacher. I was invited to Melbourne two years ago to teach at the Ballet Academy. I am currently developing my own online platform about ballet art and teaching. My teaching method is based on the Vaganova method of the Russian ballet tradition.  Besides being an experienced dancer, I love sharing my knowledge from my own achievements.”

Please see my work HERE

We’re so happy to see our ballet barres put to good use with Nina’s classes. It’s amazing to us that such a high pedigree of study in the arts takes place at Studio14.

When: Saturday Evenings 6.00 to 7.00pm

Peter Eves – Qigong Classes, Remedial Massage & Holistic Lifestyle Coaching
"This business was born through seeking my own personal health, well-being, and longevity. Like many other health coaches, my journey started because of my major health issues, or more aptly, a health crisis.

To become healthy, I started educating myself and becoming proactive in my health and well-being, not simply relying on pharmaceutical drugs and mainstream medicine for my health. Although at the time that was a necessity. This led to becoming qualified in Holistic Lifestyle Coaching with the Chek Institute, completing a Diploma, and Certificate IV in Nutrition Food Coaching under the Australian Registered Training Organization (RTO) vocational training sector. I have also put in thousands of hours of personal study and investigation into health, nutrition, Qigong, and longevity. I am a Fellow of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and an accredited Remedial Masseuer with the ATMS.

The ancient arts of Qigong and Taijiquan were also integral to rebuilding my body, mind, and health. This led to becoming a qualified instructor and teaching ongoing classes in Qigong and Tai Chi for health and wellness with the JinLi Wushu-Tai Chi school. I have also spent three decades working in the healthcare sector as a Remedial Massage Therapist. This has given me a depth of insight into patients' health challenges and concerns.”

Peter is an integral part of both our Jinli Team and Studio 14 family. Whether running qigong classes or caring for clients in our Health Clinic, Peter compliments his many modalities with a wealth of knowledge. We at Studio 14 know you’ll be in good hands when working with Peter in any of his capacities.

When: Qigong classes are held every Monday morning (Excluding school holidays)
